ABOUT THE POWER UP CREATOR AWARDS

The Power Up Creator Awards celebrate creators over 50 who are showing the world that experience and tech-savvy aren’t opposites, they’re a superpower. This year we’re honoring video creators, podcasters, authors, writers, and musicians.

Award Descriptions:

1. Power Up Top Creator – First Place

Honors the standout creator of the year whose single piece of content demonstrates exceptional storytelling, production quality, and impact.

2. Power Up Top Creator – Second Place

Recognizes a creator whose submitted work showcases remarkable creativity, clarity, and audience connection.

3. Power Up Top Creator – Third Place

Celebrates a creator whose featured content exemplifies strong craft, originality, and heart.

4. Power Up Audio‑Only Excellence Award

Honors an audio‑only creator whose submitted episode demonstrates outstanding sound design, hosting, and listener engagement.

5. Power Up Writer Award

Celebrates the top voted writer. Your work can be books, articles, etc. Submit your greatest work.

6. Power Up Digital Arts Award

Recognizes a creator over 50 who creates stunning digital work.

7. Power Up ‘Pick Your Label Award’

Recognizes a creator who has boldly defined or redefined their own label, niche, or identity and found meaningful success over the last 12 months.

How to Enter the Power Up Creator Awards:

Open to creators aged 50 and over, including audio podcasters, authors, YouTubers, influencers, and any creator who publishes original content.

Required entry materials (all three are mandatory):

1. Application & payment

Complete the online entry form in full and submit the entry fee & you’ll receive an email telling you where to send the following items

2. Link to your best content

Provide a direct, working link to your favorite or best single piece of content from the last 12 months.

3. Pre‑recorded acceptance speech (max 60 seconds)

Share the link to your pre‑recorded acceptance speech video that is no longer than 60 seconds.

Important rules:

All three items are required. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.
60‑second limit for award acceptance is strict.
No refunds on disqualified entries. Entry fees are final and non‑refundable.

LIVE RED CARPET AFTERPARTY:

IMMEDIATELY after the premiere, join us for the Red Carpet After Party, a one‑hour live virtual celebration hosted by Jen Hardy along with special guests and the night’s winners. Come dressed in your favorite formal attire (yes, from home!), enjoy red‑carpet–style fun, and connect with fellow creators 50+ in a warm, upbeat space.

The Power Up Generation • Our Anthem

MUSIC!!! This is my FAVORITE Passtime! Other people binge tv, go for a walk – I write songs.

I’ve been writing songs since I was a little girl with my dad. We would sit at the table for hours and sing, and we had so much fun!

Finally, in the last few years, I’ve been putting them to music. I wish my dad was here to see what I’ve been able to do! I write the songs, I sing the songs, and my own production company is producing them. I know he’s proud.

And I’m proud. They may never hit the top 100, but I did it. What’s out there that you’ve been wanting to do? Because anything is possible, & I’m here to help.
